Glycerin ingredient plant sourced?

Mark May 14, 2017 01:27PM EDT

Is the GLYCERIN ingredient in your hand soaps always plant sourced? The SEA KELP hand soap I purchased says on the label, "Glycerin (vegetable)". But the MANUKA HONEY label reads just "Glycerin" [LOT:67952]. On this website the MANUKA HONEY does list it as "vegetable".

Hi Mark,
Thank you for contacting SheaMoisture. The glycerin used in our products is from sustainable palm oil. We are working with our labeling team to unify the “vegetable glycerin” for all our products and apologize for any confusion.
Thank you again for reaching out to us! If you have any other questions, please let us know.
Best regards,
